I'VE BEEN WITH AT&T/CINGULAR FOR YEARS. MY CONTRACT WAS UP NOV.08, I HAD TO BUY A NEW PHONE IN FEB.09. I HAVE ALREADY PAID THE UPGRADE FEE BEFORE. AND IT SAYS IT IS A ONE TIME FEE. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME I HAVE HAD TO PAY THE ONE TIME FEE.NOW IT BEING CALLED A CONTRACT EXTENSION FEE. I HAVE GONE FOR 3 MONTHS WITHOUT A CONTRACT BUT NOW THAT I HAD TO BUY A NEW PHONE, I'M GETTING THE FEE. BULL!!!!! THAT NEEDS TO BE RE-WORDED OR DISCONTINUED BECAUSE IT IS A LIE. MAYBE NEXT TIME I WILL LOOK INTO ANOTHER PHONE COMPANY THAT DOES NOT LIE.

I purchased this to go with my new tilt phone. I love at&t and will say that I did not end up keeping the tilt. My only major beef with the whole thing was that I had to pay the activation fee and was not waived even though the phone I purchased was returned-do to it not working properly.

Both of the phones that I purchased through amazon had to be replaced - they were both defective! What a pain! I also lost all of my numbers on one of the phones!!! It's better to just buy them directly from ATT.

I ordered a contract extension but Amazon thought it was a new line. Now I need to return the phone, cancel the new contract, and GO FIND ANOTHER VENDOR. DO NOT USE AMAZON TO BUY YOUR PHONE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RID OF YOUR CURRENT NUMBER. THEY TELL YOU DIFFERENTLY BUT THEY LIE. This mistake will cost me. It will also cost Amazon. I will not order anything through Amazon again due to the awful customer service and misleading website information. Congrats, Amazon, you've lost at least one customer today.

avoid ATT as a wireless company. it took over 2 hours on 2 separate occasions to cancel my contract in the first 30 day trial period. they kept telling me to call amazon, amazon finally sent me the contract reference to give the AtT reps, then they put me on hold until the system hung up on me (about 30 mins) eventually I got it cancelled. they probably count on people not going through the hassel. I will NEVER use them again.
