Pairing the SP700 together with Your Phone

The first time you turn on the speakerphone it will automatically be in pairing mode. To enter pairing mode subsequently, turn off SP700 and press the Answer/End button for 5 seconds.
Open the button when the Bluetooth Status Icon begins to flash shortly and you listen to a voice announce: "Pairing mode."
Activate the Bluetooth function on your phone and set the phone to "discover" the speakerphone SP700.
Confirm together with PIN code = 0000 (4 zeros).

Utilizing the SP700 together with Your Car Stereo
The FM transmitter in the speakerphone lets you to transmit calls and music from your mobile to the car stereo.

Connect your mobile and your speakerphone.
Press the FM button to enter FM mode. The FM Status Icon will turn solid red and a FM frequency will be announced.
Manually turn your radio into the same FM frequency and you are now ready to transmit calls and music from your phone to your car stereo.

This is my first review posting. I make my decision on other people's reviews as they are very helpful so I also want to contribute. I wouldn't recommend this product Jabra SP700 to anyone. Here are the reasons why:

1. The speaker is way too loud (even in the lowest volume setting) which causes BAD DISTORTION and you have a hard time understanding what the other person's saying.
2. FM Transmitter does not really work.
3. I have received complaints that there is an echo from the receiving end.

I found other reviews that warns about these specific problems and I should have listened... I'm planning to purchase either the Cruiser or SP200. They seem to have much better reviews.

The Jabra SP700 is fine for a speakerphone; it does the job. My problem; like others is with the seller:DLN Enterprises. I ordered two of the Jabra NEW. They came in a slightly padded envelope that was beeping! When I opened the package the units were in baggies with only a small "how to use" pamphlet. No packaging or protective packing, no warrantees, no manual and no receipt-which meant no contact information. I contacted the seller asking what was going on. He responded by saying it was sent "bulk". I explained I specifically ordered the unit;NEW and wanted it replaced with such. He had posted both on Amazon. After a couple of emails he said he didn't have any of the paperwork you normally receive with a unit but couldn't explain why; but said they would warrantee the items. Again a receipt was never provided, the only contact info I had was through the storefront. He did finally credit the difference between the NEW and BULK unit. I would advise anyone to steer clear of this seller. I am still not sure if this a real Jabra or a knock-off. Amazon; you should not associate with this seller.

The Jabra SP700 does a nice job as a visor mount speakerphone. I did find that the pairing instructions I found on the internet were much better than the very tiny slip of paper included with the device. The written instructions were in an extraordinarily small font, and too concise. Once I got the device paired, it works very well. When the device is powered on, my phone automatically finds it when I get into the car. The voice dialer is iffy, but I find that true with every blue tooth device I've used.
