QuickPair Pairing Instructions
Earpieces together with QuickPair are automatically in pairing mode when powered on until paired together with the first device.

Step 1: Begin together with earpiece powered OFF. Hold down earpiece Call Control button for four seconds--open when Indicator Light flashes red and blue. Earpiece is now discoverable. Earpiece will remain discoverable until it is paired together with its first device.
Step 2: Use your device's menu to enter its pairing mode and pick and choose 220Plantronics on the display. 0000 is the pairing passkey.
Subsequent Pairings: To manually situate earpiece in Pairing Mode, initiate together with the earpiece turned off, then press the call control button for 8-10 seconds until the earpiece indicator light flashes red and blue. The earpiece is now in pairing mode for the next 60 seconds. To pair together with a phone, repeat Step 2.
Reconnection for Previously Paired Devices: If the Bluetooth phone and your Plantronics Bluetooth earpiece have been out of range for an expanded amount of time or if the earpiece and/or phone were turned off and do not automatically reconnect, just do a short press of the call control button and the devices will reconnect.

I use this headset all the time for my PS3 and it works perfectly. It may not last an entire day of gaming but on available nights it lasts the whole time and is clear and low profile for online game chatting.

Picked this up when it was on sale and I must admit that it works great. Fits well and stays put. Sound is crisp. I've received no complaints from people on the other end of the call. The battery holds up well. And it's easy to use. Used with an iPhone and Blackberry with no issues.

Comfortable but short range 2010-01-31

I suppose i am used to electronics with a bit longer of an effective range than just a few feet. This headset has problems with any barrier or any kind, holding the phone produces static, setting down in a cupholder produces constant static, your pocket is even worse. Go for this if you have a big thing for cheap style or something, but it is definitely not worth it if you actually want to use a headset for its intended purpose of talking on a phone clearly and audibly.

Pros: Fits firmly in either ear. Looks good. Holds charge for a long time.

Cons: Amplifies surrounding noise (even air flow from vents)! Slow to connect when answering a call. Connection with handset fades in and out on any call at anytime in any location.

I would never recommend this product to anyone. 2-stars.
