I had bought this phone a few months ago to replace my old nokia phone. I wasn't looking for something extravagant, just something basic. This phone pretty much suited my needs.
Video and camera are all pretty much standard; nothing over the top. Some of the photos I shot came out a bit fuzzy but as I mentioned, I only wanted a basic phone. I didn't mind if the photos were not crystal-clear. However, the photos were not so blurry where you couldn't make out what was in the photo.
Volume is my only complaint I have about this phone. If I'm in a very noisy place, a restaurant, city, or wherever, and I'm trying to listen to someone, even when I have the volume on the highest setting, sometimes it's still very hard to hear what the other person says. This gets very frustrating.
All in all, I'm content with this samsung phone. People who are looking for a phone with a lot of extra features that some of the newer phones come with will not find much with this phone. Nevertheless, if you're looking for only a basic phone, this one will do the trick. |

| I wanted a phone--not an alarm clock or a camera or anything fancy--just a phone and it certainly fits the bill. It is easy to use, has a long battery life, and is easily one of the best cell phones I have ever purchased. Plus, the T-Mobile prepaid cell phone plan is saving me a fortune. I should have done this years ago. |

This is a well rounded phone but it has a big problem... You can "barely" hear the other side. And insult to injury, this stupid thing does not even have a "volume control" so you can increase the sound... I'm really applaud how it became a product ???
Shame on Samsung.
Shame on T-Mobil.
Consumers should punish these companies for taking us granted... |

| I bought this phone (unlocked) to try while traveling rural areas and it gets good reception in areas that my previous phone (razor) would not. The battery life is really great and the sound quality is also good. No complaints here. If you need a phone that works, this one does it. |

Samsung makes some pretty crappy phones but this has to be the worst of the worst. I needed a new phone without extending my t-mobile contract and this happened to be on sale (first sign to not get it).
Problems so far:
Falls apart easily (Back slides off and battery pops out)
Bad sound quality (sometimes it sounds like your underwater or talking in a box)
Random missed calls
Horrible Reception
Only Pros:
good battery life (very rare for a samsung phone)
Bunch of other annoying stuff also. |
